Environment Haliburton (EH!)
Mission Statement

Environment Haliburton! takes a comprehensive view of environmental issues in Haliburton County
and encourages initiatives that protect or enhance the natural environment and opposes those that do not.
Environment Haliburton! recognizes and supports the positive environmental impacts of
other local organizations in the County, that work to protect wetlands, forests, headwaters, shorelines and lakes.

Its objectives are:
  •  to disseminate educational materials and information throughout
the County regarding environmental issues and concerns
  •  to lobby governments and their agencies to enact legislation and
regulations to protect and conserve the County’s natural environment.
  •  to support and encourage environmental research in the County.
  •  to join with others in the County, province and nation who are also working for the protection and conservation of   the  natural environment.
